This Installation eremony was dedicated in honor of the courage of Ellie Grace Johnson.
Richardson Chapter DeMolays, Advisors, parents, relatives, friends, and Chapter Sweetheart Jenna Clopp, as well as District Governor Ben Wilson, and his wife, Diane, convened at the Richardson Masonic Lodge on Saturday morning, January 14, 2017, for the Winter / Spring Installation of Officers. Installation officer positions were filled by Installing Officer Jackson Derrick, Master Councilor of Garland Chapter; Installing Senior Councilor Noah Blair, Senior Councilor of Red Oak Chapter; Installing Junior Councilor Jonah Blair, Junior Councilor of Red Oak Chapter; Installing Senior Deacon and Installing Marshall Brendon Camp, Master Councilor of Red Oak Chapter and District Deputy State Master Councilor of Texas DeMolay; and Installing Chaplain Chip Little, Assistant Chapter Dad of Richardson DeMolay Chapter. Red Oak Chapter Dad Chris Blair accompanied the Red Oak DeMolays.
Richardson Chapter DeMolays installed included Master Councilor Reese Johnson, Junior Councilor Philip Eyre, Junior Deacon Daniel Brayne, Senior Steward Dylan Bollig, and Marshall Ethan Medley. DeMolays not present for installation included Senior Councilor Aidan King, Senior Deacon Chris Stevens, Junior Steward J. D. Lee, Chaplain Ian Patrick, Standard Bearer Josh Dube, and Sentinel Nathan Nguyen.
Master Councilor Reese Johnson was given the Master Councilor lapel pin by outgoing Master Councilor Philip Eyre. He also was given a faux book containing an engraved gavel by his father, Bill Johnson, and, most important, a hug by his mother, Alicia Freeman.
Mom Mimi Little was given a set of drinking glasses engraved with the words DeMolay International and the DeMolay crest, by Dad Richard Gilman, for her ongoing dedicated service to the Richardson DeMolay Chapter. She also was given the Love Award, a heart-shaped pink glass crystal, by Mom Alicia Freeman, also for her dedicated service to the Richardson DeMolay Chapter. The Love Award originally had been created to honor Mom Freeman’s much-loved grandmother.
Following the Installation ceremony, DeMolays, Advisors, parents, relatives, and the Chapter Sweetheart gathered at the Amigos Restaurant in Richardson for a celebratory luncheon.
