I’m an “almost native” Texan, my folks having moved to Dallas when I was just a year old. I was raised here, graduated from Texas Tech in 1972, and practiced Architecture for 40 years before retiring. It was a great career, doing everything from a Federal prison to 5-star hotels and resorts in different parts of the planet.
I married the greatest gal in the world, Ruth M. Fitzgibbons, in 2011. Ruth specializes in public relations and branding for non-profits, such as the Salvation Army and our very own Scottish Rite Hospital. We enjoy friends and family (7 grandchildren between us), seemingly constant projects at the lake house, and we ?also ?love to travel. Too many places to visit on Ye Olde Bucket List!
Recent activities for me include serving on our church’s Community Outreach Committee, the Board of our POA, and recently finishing a second term as Foreman of the Dallas County Grand Jury.
Becoming Master of the Lodge seems like it came about so quickly. With all the planning and preparations, the 2014-15 Masonic year is finally upon us. I’m looking forward to the challenges and changes, and I’m eager to do my part to help make Richardson Lodge even better.
